Job Description: Interact with contractors to provide information in response to inquiries about quotes, product and services, handle and resolve client issues and provide support to various company departments.

Department Manager Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, interviewing and orienting new staff members
  • Monitoring and evaluating staff performance
  • Managing a departmental budget and forecasting budgetary requirements.
  • Setting strategic long and short-term departmental goals and evaluating outcomes.
  • Motivating and inspiring staff and facilitating personal growth
  • Ensuring high levels of productivity are maintained
  • Communicating job expectations to staff
  • Conducting training and seminars for continued skills improvement
  • Fostering a productive working environment
  • Ensuring adherence to company and industry

Contractor Sales Support

  • Answer phones
  • Answer product and service questions for contractors
  • Open and maintain contractor accounts
  • Record and update file information
  • Set appointments
  • Utilize online calendar
  • Client follow up

Operations

  • Estimating
  • Ordering
  • Data entry
  • Scanning
  • Filing
  • Sending and receiving electronic faxes and signature files
  • Installation document preparation
  • Credit card payment processing

Accounting Support

  • Invoicing
  • Process customer payments
  • Enter bills
  • Email paid invoices to clients
  • Loading/unloading trucks – heavy lifting 50 to 100lbs assisted (Average 5 -10 deliveries per week)

Skill Set: Customer Service, Construction Knowledge in both Windows& Doors, Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Documentation Skills, Listening and Phone Skills, Conflict Resolution, Analyzing Information, Multi-Tasking, 35WPM.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel, Quickbooks, 10 key (helpful but not required), Window Estimating Software(Preferred but not required).
